Elms Court Rest Home

Elms Court is located on Cholmondeley Avenue, a leafy quiet street in historic Opawa. Litty, Registered Nurse, co-owner and family friend is dedicated to seeing our residents have a truly home like experience with all the support and care they require. We are only about 100m away from historic Risingholme, which is now a community centre that some of our residents have previously used.

We are also located only 200m from Opawa shopping mall, which contains numerous shops including a cafe, hairdresser, fruit and vege shop, and dairy. A bus service is a short walk away.

All our rooms have single beds, wardrobes, comfortable chairs, flat screen television and chest of drawers. We do however encourage our residents to personalise their rooms so that they feel comfortable and at home. WiFi is available and pets are generally welcome.

We are a unique home with manicured gardens including outdoor seating, we have 15 rooms, two modern bathrooms and onsite laundry. We also have an internal courtyard which includes a water feature and is an ideal spot to enjoy some fresh air and relaxation in a private, secluded setting.

Due to the smaller size of the home, we provide a superior, homely environment for our residents. We like to keep fit and active getting out and about as much as each resident can. Residents also enjoy getting involved helping with daily activities around the home. Staff and residents are able to foster a closer relationship, which ultimately means residents needs are more fulfilled.
